Position Paper 4 | Wildcard: Mobile Apps in Education
\ As a college student, there are popular apps that campus communities and groups encourage me to have to ensure proper and efficient communication. BAND is an all-in-one app designed for the basics of everything: messages, calendars, files, photos, videos, and more. BAND is a popular platform for large communities to share content with each other, hold one another accountable, and for leaders to main control over group communication. Similar to that platform, GroupMe is another app designed to bring communities like universities, on-campus ministries, shared class courses, sports teams, and clubs together through group chats, event planning, and other features. The BAND app is an app that I've been using since high school, as I continue to use it now: cheer in high school and band right now.
